Paintings Display of Talented Students – Art & History 3

Fig 01- The sign of student art show.

I noticed there are no art gallery or show in public spaces during one year pandemic.

Recently, our city library shows paintings of talented students. These students come from:

- elementary

- middle school

- high school.

The chosen painting from talented students are displayed on entrance wall of library.

Some painting have price tags. Many of them just about US$ 50. Few are couple hundred dollars.

In the last 5 years, we bought one painting only. Good painting from a high school student.

Three paintings at below are examples of paintings from high school students at recent art show.

Fig 02- Science and art, Tiffany Pham

Three paintings are quite represent to human beings. About their daily interest and activities.

Fig 03- A cup of ginseng, Hay AnhTon

Tiffany Pham tried to describe the power of brain to create city, agriculture and art (music) through her painting.

Fig 04- Dance, Annisa

The last two paintings portrait daily live such as drink a cup of ginseng and dancing.

Moreover, these talented students are identified through talented art program by East Baton Rouge Parish School System.

Art programs include:

- visual arts

- music

- theater

Hope, this talented programs could produce excellent works in arts, and promote great artists in the near future.

  6. I'm so glad that your city found a way to bring back the student art show even in this pandemic! Tiffany Pham's piece is amazing; I love the vibrant collage style, and its symbolism of brain activity is so cool. Also, it's great that you have a piece of student art in your home; way to support young creators!

  15. Tanza, They just had a chalk walk artist event here in Knoxville Tennessee. Students and other artists were given a section of sidewalk to create whatever vision they had. I've been writing about murals painted during the Great Depression...some very interesting works of art. Stay Safe and Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
