Vaccinated but Mask Up - Sign & Sky 3

Fig 01- People need to wear mask

100 million or more Americans have been vaccinated until today, March 16, 2021.

Positive cases of Covid 19 have been decreased, from 300,619 cases (January 9, 2021) to 57,000 cases as of March 16, 2021.

With these facts, but don’t mean people should back to normal without masks. In entrance of one of our city parks, we saw a big sign:

Mask Up, Baton Rouge!

Until today, face masks are required in many public spaces include:

- library

- traditional shops or ethnic groceries

- farmer markets

- book stores

- super markets

- banks

- drug stores

Fig 02- Sunset in the corner of our city

We saw a little bit “crowd” in many places, but, yes, almost all are wearing mask and have social distances.

Fig 03- Mini palm tree in the bush.

Moreover, in our city as of today, people are not encouraged to visit love ones in the following public facilities:

- hospital

- nursing home

- skilled nursing facility

- other residential care facilities

How about in your places or cities? Are people required to wear mask until today?

  1. Up until now there have been strong recommendations to wear a mask on public transport here in Finland, but this week it became a must. We have to wear a mask on train and buses etc. I have been wearing one since last year.

Take care and stay healthy! 🍎

  2. We are not allowed to go anywhere without a proper FFP2 mask and the lockdown won't be over until the end of April.

  5. We are masked up at work (at the library), but I noticed on a news segment they weren't down at the old market celebrating St. Patty's last night.

  16. Slowly by slowly, the world is getting vaccinated - and we can start to hope for some more normalcy. Still need to take precautions. Here where I am, Norway, there are no requirements to wear masks, except when you cannot overhold social distancing.

  25. Tanza, Masks have never been required here in Tennessee although the larger cities have mandated them at times. They have been recommended though but many folks are ignoring the recommendation. We will continue to wear them for the foreseeable future. Stay Safe and Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

  26. It is also everywhere here that you must wearing masks and yet unfortunately I see many without them. They don't follow the rules and that scares me. We still have the curfew here in Holland and a lot is also still closed and at various other shops you have to call for an appointment but then you can only go in for ten minutes and I cannot make it with my walker and walking ability so I only go to the grocery stores and then quickly grab what I need with my husband and then quickly go home.
