Street
besides the lake still no crowd
After
several months of “lock down,” we visit public park which has a
lake in our city. We just meet several people, no crowd, un-usual
condition in normal days.
It
is good for us, since we are worrying of infection incidence in
public area such as gardens and parks.
Some
couples are biking, encircling the lakes. We enjoyed walking with
slow steps while observing surrounding.
The
park and lake occupy about 8.3 acres (34,000 square meter) lands. The
lake was man made lake, created from swampland.
The
lake is house for many kinds of birds:
-
water birds
-
ducks
-
swans
-
egrets
-
pelicans
Boat
and two crew
Both
egrets and pelicans are migratory birds. They usually abundance in
winter, due to freezing in northern part of America.
Trash
bin on side the lake
We
saw a boat with two crew, and we guessed a supervisor standing beside
the lake. They seem to clean the surface lake which covered by blue
green algae.
The
warmer temperature cause algae to grow in high speed.
Yes,
the cleaning should be done to make lake back to beautiful condition
and healthy for visitors.
Respeitando o afastamento social, usar máscara, sabe bem dar uma voltinha pelos parques e, nesse caso, junto ao lago. Acredito que tenha sido um passeio animado e muito sedutor.

Uma boa semana
...it's nice to be old, we are heading a the park with our cameras.
ReplyDeleteTanza, It must be nice to seen the pelicans. Other than along the southern coastline, the only place away from the sea where we've seen them was in northeastern Montana. All that algae is probably caused by chemical and fertilizer run off... Stay Safe and Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
ReplyDeleteHow are you?
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my page.
It's good your having a good time watching birds at the park.
Stay safe.
We've been going to a little park near the ocean. It's up on a bluff so it isn't as popular as the ones close to the water. That's good for us. Like you, we are concerned about the spread of COVID-19. - Margy
ReplyDeleteI love to watch the water birds at work and play. They are wonderful entertainment.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place to walk around.
ReplyDeleteThanks -

We are still concerned about the virus too. Thank goodness that the weather is nice and we too are opening up a bit. The lake area looks beautiful... Michelle
ReplyDeleteLovely to get out and about.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
We really appreciated the parks once they re-opened. One in particular we visited a number of times before we left Florida to return from snow birding. They are peaceful and tranquil.
ReplyDeleteNice park and lake. It is good to be able to visit the park. Travelling restriction here has been lifted and things are almost back to normal but we are still observing safety measures.

With a walk in the park you will always come across a lot of beautiful nature, but the trash can is not so good because many birds can go in there and get out a lot of things that are not good for their health. If you scroll back than you can met my walk in the park and also a video what i had made on my Yt channel wher eyou can see lots of beautiful walks from my country. Please try and i hope you to watching there also. My website is what different than what others do.Under each photo you can met a lot. Be safe and healthy.
ReplyDeleteI have to check which parks are open to visit. Happy New Year.
