Regular
and cage free eggs
I
like the taste and flavor of cage free eggs than regular ones. Some
people said the cage free eggs is the healthiest eggs, the other said
no (nutritional) differences of two. It is required that all
groceries in the USA must sell cage free eggs by 2025.
A
cage free hen is not mean that hens are roaming in the grass field or
a huge place. However, the hens are much more better live in the huge
cage, hence, hens have good live than confined ones.
White or regular
eggs packed
Advantages
of cage free hens are following:
1)
Consume organic feed
2)
No antibiotics
3)
No or less exposure to pesticides
In
addition, cage free hens lives in housing system are able to stretch
their wings, run around and lay eggs in the nest. But, they might not
access to outdoor.

In
term of price, sure, cage free eggs much more expensive than confined
hen’s eggs. The price could be double or more. I found US$ 1.26 for
12 regular eggs, while 12 cage free eggs are US$ 2.96.
Have
you tried cage free eggs? What do you think?
For Me, Cage Free, Bug Eating Chickens Are Much Healthier. Have A Fantastic Rest Of The Work Week.

I have been buying only bio cage free eggs for a long time. Here in EU the bestest eggs are number 0 and are expensive indeed, but I think it is worthy. Sometimes I buy also number 1, also cage free but not bio. Those bio eggs, and even number 1 eggs are smaller and the yellow colour after boiling has another shadow. It must be the hens are feeding in another way :-)

I buy eggs from hens that live in the open air and I find they taste better, the yolk is more creamy and tastier. I live in a rural region and such eggs are not difficult to find. I also like the idea of happy hens running freely in the grass. A funny thing : in France, we find coloured eggs only and it is always a surprise for us to see white eggs as the ones in your second picture.

I used to buy regular old eggs, then switched to Eggland's Best because they're better for your cholesterol. Who knows? Maybe cage-free is next!

Regular and cage free eggs
I don't eat eggs much. If I buy a dozen eggs, I usually have to throw away half in three months because I didn't eat them yet. I've tried both and tastewise, I can't tell any difference. It's better for the hens to have a more space though.
