No one can avoid to consume eggs in many forms of dishes in our daily live. Some of egg dishes are following:
1. Hard boiled and soft boiled eggs
2. Egg omelet
3. Fried eggs
4. Poached eggs
5. Scrambled eggs

Unfortunately, many people worry with cholesterol in the eggs. Yes, chicken eggs are high in cholesterol, and might relate to heart diseases. Do you know that cholesterol is important to our body as well?

Cholesterol is important to make hormone called cortisol and testosterone. Both are masculine hormones.

Our body organ, liver produces cholesterol daily, thus if we consume cholesterol rich foods such as eggs, the liver will reduce cholesterol production to the level of necessary for body needed.

In addition to cholesterol, egg contains “choline,” a chemical compound to maintain our brain cells in healthy condition. Eggs help brain cell membrane strength, thus brain live longer.

How many eggs should we eat per-day? Experts suggest no more than 3 eggs per-day for normal people. But, one only for diabetic patients.

  7. I can't eat eggs in the morning, but I just had two for lunch. I have type 1 diabetes and fail to understand why the one egg per day rule for diabetics. I watch my carbs, but need my protein and the rest of the good things in eggs. Maybe it's for the often overweight type 2 diabetics that the rule applies. Too much cholesterol, perhaps.
